After applying to your local authority to join the programme, your first activity will be to audit your existing knowledge and skills and define the areas you need to develop. Subject specialist training will then be arranged to address your needs.
You should carry out this audit, using the mathematics or science subject guidance, with your mentor/coach. The subject guidance will provide you with a working document on which you can record your initial level of subject knowledge, the training you receive and your personal development.
After your subject specialist training is complete, it is important that you fill in the first online questionnaire to provide ELC with feedback on your experience.
